Port Range Limitation

Min port

Should be higher than 1023. Should be lower than 65536. Min port must be lower than Max port.

Max port

Should be higher than 1023. Should be lower than 65536. A narrow range can lead to issues.

Auto configure Spark

Also use this port range for Spark jobs.

Graphite reporting

Server

Mirror metrics computed on datasets, system metrics, and server metrics to this server.

Metrics prefix

Prefix for metrics sent to graphite. If left empty, the DSS instance's id is used.

Frequency

If positive, send DSS metrics to Graphite every ... minutes.

Schema incompatibilities

Auto-accept schema changes at end of flow

When saving a recipe at the end of a flow, and if a schema incompatibility is detected, the schema update modal won't be displayed and the output dataset's schema will automatically be updated

Data type mode

Lock strongly typed inputs Infer data types for loosely-typed input dataset formats (e.g. CSV) and lock for strongly-typed ones (e.g. SQL, Parquet). Always infer Infer data types for all input dataset formats (default behavior of DSS 11 and below). Lock all inputs Not recommended. Preemptively lock the data types of the input columns and only infer for new columns.
